I was wondering if anyone has experienced there loved one complaining about pressure in head, on top by what would be a baby's soft spot. My dad has talked about this pressure for over a year, Ct scans and MRI's have been done and nothing is found to account for this pressure. He says sometimes it is so bad it makes his eyes go dim. The doctor does not seem to be too concerned, since tests do not reflect a problem, but he continues to talk about this. WONDERING

I've also noticed this with my MIL (age 81). She puts her hand on top of her head, like she's holding her head on. I've found that a tylenol and tylenol migraine tablet seem to help. I know they're not supposed to have caffeine (why?)... but, it seems to relieve the pressure. I also know she has a history of sinus headaches. So, I'm trying to decide if she's experiencing pressure or pain.

I know someone who had a similar problem. Turned out it was "water on the brain" I don't know the medical term for it. Nothing showed on the MRI or Catscan either. Keep looking for another Doctor until you find one that is willing to take the time to get to the root of the problem.

Good Luck
