We really need a list of all the acronyms being regularly used on all the message boards.

GM, ALF, FIL, ADF, AH, ... ?

use of all this jargon makes it easy for the poster who knows what the abreviation means, but for the unitiated, it becomes impossible to understand what is being said.

Many message boards on the Net have a permanent list of abreviations in a Locked, or Sticky post at the top of each topic.

Doug, I agree with you. For those of us who are new to chats in general, and this one in particular, it can be very confusing.
I don't text and this is the first chat room I have ever gone into, so some of the abbreviations and acronyms are beyond me.
