How can I get notifications of only the threads I post in? I'm getting notified of every post made across the board. Way too many to handle--Help!

Welcome SeniorSafari,
I feel you have chosen, through your profile, to accept notification of all new posts! I did that, and was overwhelmed, too.

Go to your profile preferences and UNCLICK the notification choice there.

THEN:
Open any thread that you want to follow.
Click on the purple "Notify" box.
Then choose from the menu how you wish to be notified-daily, weekly, or immediately.

I just checked my thread regarding this, and realized I also had to go through EACH email notification I was receiving, and change the preference through the email.

Simply "unchecking" the preference in your profile, will NOT stop the emails already being sent.
I have sent my previous thread up "To The Top" for you, also.

SeniorSafari,

We wanted to check in with you to see if you were able to stop all the notifications. Maebee gave some great tips.

Let us know if you still need some help. Email us at onlinecom@alz.org

Thanks!
