On 11/15 the House failed to override the President's veto of HR 3043, the Health and Human Services bill. HR 3043 contained a provision to increase Alz funding by 16 million dollars. The override failed 277-141, with 15 not voting. The ovveride required a 2/3 majority, so it failed by 9 votes. To find out how your representative voted paste the link below into your browser.
I don't honestly know. The reason I posted this is because my representative did not vote at all and I'm ticked off. 15 reps did not vote, and this bill included more than just Alz funding...it was a great portion, or possibly all of the Health and Human Services funding for 2009.
