My husband takes his namenda in the AM and aricept and namenda in the eveing with dinner, I always make sure he takes it with food. His ankles are swollen, but thats was way before either drug. He is doing well on both as of now. which hes been on them since 2007. But he had trouble with a drug they gave him to control his urnery tract. I believe it was Detrol. since we took him off that he is doing well.
