I am new to this site and recently started taking an acai berry all-natural supplement drink that promotes an observed improvement in prevention and treatment of dementia and Alzheimer's. My father has early dementia and I started him on this product. He has been more alert, has had more energy and is sleeping better. I wanted to share it with my best friend who's father has Alzheimer but wanted to see if there was any other testimonials of anyone taking something similar and their results, if any.

Beware of scams which offer free products, and then charge your credit card every month.

MV lady,
Sorry haven't heard of Acai berry drink? How do you know of it? Have you looked it up on the internet? Perhaps try Yahoo or one of the other search engines?
Thanks for sharing.

Please, let us know what you find out.

Peace and Hope,

Açai is a palm fruit that grows on a strain of palm trees that, to my knowledge, grow only in Brazil. They're a small red fruit with little juice, and the extracted açai is very thick, dark burgandy, and a little bitter. It's typically mixed with Guarana or apple juice and sweetened. It is common throughout Brazil and is used universally there as an all-natural energy drink that also gives natural vitamins and minerals. People may drink açai instead of coffee, an athlete may have one before an event, etc. Plus, it tastes AWESOME!

Here in the US it's quite expensive and not as good as in Brazil, but the health benefits are certainly well known. I'm not sure it would do more than any other diet high in energy, vitamins, and minerals, but it certainly is an excellent drink and a very healthy supplement.

Incidentally, it's pronounced ahh-sigh-EEE, and it's one of dozens of indigenous fruits in Brazil that don't grow anywhere else in the world.

It's a number one superfood and most nutritious.

Has a remarkable concentration of antioxidants that help combat inflammation and aging, with 10 times more antioxidants than red grapes and thirty times of red wine.

Has an almost perfect essential amino acid complex.

It helps neurotransmitters function, helps keep insulin levels down (and insluin creates inlammation, inflammtion is bad for the brain)

SmilerMy mother in law, age 84, started showing signs of Alzheimer's, she would call us asking why we left without saying goodbye when we'd never been there. Then she said that people were visiting her that we knew were in another state. She started having trouble keeping up with her bills and her bank account was a mess. Her doctor diagnosed early stage Alzheimer's. Well that was 1 month ago, and now she is back to her"old" self, like we haven't seen her in years! I put her on a high protein diet with plenty of vegetables and also had her take 1 multivitamin, 1 B-complex,1 21 grain Lecithin and 400mg E every morning and also same doses every evening!! I pray this will last! She is back to walking 4 miles a day, seeing her friends, remembering appointments, keeping up with her bills, etc...and giving me H double LL!! Just like she was 4 years ago!

I am trying this myself right now.

I bought it at Costco, not cheap though.

They also carry Reversitall and other healing juices.

Jury is still out on results.

Oprah's Dr. Oz swears by the drink. Although I did not hear him say anything about it helping with alzheimers(didn't hear him say anything of it not helping either)I have also heard of the scams with it too. There is a multi-level marketing product Called mona vie( i think I spelled it right.(their bottles look like a wine type bottle) I think it is the same type drink.
I have heard to beware of all the companies jumping of the bandwagon selling things at the super market, they are not as good, yet still very expensive.

I ordered 4 bottles for my mom. She was only suppose to drink small glasses 2x a day. She finished the whole bottle in one day. Needless to say she didnt listen & all four bottles were done in less than 2 weeks time. Did it help? Maybe , she was drinking it 4 years before she died. Maybe just for that short time but overall dimentia did win out.
