Welcome to the forums! You may want to repost this in the Treatments and Medications area -- the members of our community who keep up with the latest treatments and drugs are there and can give you some insight, I'm sure. It's a little crazy when you first come here, figuring out what to post where and how to navigate all this stuff, but the learning curve's worth it for the insight, info and support we all get.

Rob, Carolina's right, you'll get more responders at the other area. But, in case you can't wait, that medication has been used as a mood stabilizer for a long time. Since lots of us with AD have mood problems sometimes, it's been tried a good bit. I think the consensus is it's better to use one of the atypical anti-psychotics like Seroquel for the symptoms.
Does that help? Alan |

Alan and Carolinas,
That does help and I will post in the correct place in the future. You are right, these boards are confusing! Thanks. |
