The USA is the only industrialized democracy that does not provide health care for all its citizens.

The USA spends as much on its yearly military budget, as all the other countries in the world, combined.

Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of our military men and women, who will follow the orders of our government without hesitation. I'm just making sure that the national priorities are clear.

Old rich white men will moan, "Socialized medicine!" The same guys who probably don't mind socialized road construction. Socialized police protection. Socialized fire protection. Socialized military. Socialized Social Security payments and insurance. Taxpayers bailing out Wall Street. Socialized education. You get the point.

How is it that old rich white men in government have convinced us that caring for our sick is a bad idea? When every other industrialized democracy does it? Pathetic. Just pathetic.
