I am very worried about my Father. How can I know if he is getting Alzheimers? Like today my sister took him to the doctor for his radiation treatment. They were back home for about 10 min. and my dad calls out for my sister, she went to see what he needed and he told her that they need to hurry up and leave are he would be late for his appt. She told him they just got back and asked him if he remembered leaving. He said No! I'm scared! None of his doctors are even looking at this, might be Alzheimers.

It may be AD or it could be something else, maybe even the radiation trmt. AD is very elusive to diagnose. Have you mentioned this to his docs? Many docs know zippo about AD. Try to find a neurologist who specializes in brain disorders. Call your county on Aging and see how they can guide you, look up your local Alz Assn phone no & call them. Or call the Mississippi division on Aging & Adult services at 800-345-6347. This needs looking into. Good luck.
