Can someone explain what MMSE is? The doctor gave my mom a test and said in July 06 she was at 16 and recently gave her another test and said she was at 9? All I know is her score went down hill and now he wants her on more meds.

THE MINI MENTAL STATE EXAM - it's a lousy judge for diagnosing this disease.
