Is anyone aware of research showing any association between Alzheimer's and various forms of mental illness earlier in life? (mood disorders; OCD; PTSD; other anxiety disorders?) What's in the research re: differentiating Alzheimer's diagnostically from pre-existing mental illnesses, once short-term memory loss and other (new) cognitive deficits begin to appear? Thanks...
