I am 48 and discovering that the a distressing part of my dementia is that I don't know what I don't know. Something is lost, things have changed, but I don't know what they are. Maybe that's a kind of blessing, but I don't like not knowing. Am I making any sense or not (that's a problem, too)?

You are making complete sense! Take one day at a time...the fact that you are facing this and not denying it is a great thing...it's going to be OK.
Please check out the Enbrel for Alzheimer's thread on this board in Medication's and Treatments. There is hope, and it's finally getting the attention it deserves. Sincerely, Felicia Felicia Rose's Baby famc17@yahoo.com |

Dear BruceB,
I know exactly how you feel! Somedays I know things and somedays I don't. Somedays I don't seem to know much and some days I feel more together. It is true. Many days I know that I used to know things that I don't know anymore! It's very wierd! Hang in there, Peace and Hope Lisa |
