This is a link to an interesting article about Maria Shriver and the grief she is experiencing over the recent loss of her mother. I thought we could all relate to this. The article is short.

Peace,
Mari

That was a great post Mari. I love Maria Shriver & it is good to see that we are not the only ones. I remember when JFK died & Jackie did not shed a tear. I would think how can they be so strong & think I was such a whimp. Sarah, if you "run into " Maria please tell her Thank you for all she does for Alzheimers.

I don't think of crying as being a wimp, and I don't think of not crying as being strong more like being cold and unfeeling. I really don't care if I show my emotion. Which is a good thing, since I cry at Halmark commercials!

I bet this forum was amazing. I hope it helped some people to see they are not alone in their grief. I also thought her comment about talking to her mom every day was cool. Just because you are famous, doesn't mean you still don't need Mom!

Today I was thinking of that phase of the title of article. "mother's death has brought me to my knees" It really happened to me at the time of her last breath. I was kneeing down and then it happened. sigh Frowner

Thank you for sharing.
