For those interested our local paper here on Long Island, New York will be running a Month Long Project in print, online & Television. It is called ALZHEIMERS, The Love & Heartbreak. It starts today in the paper & online, Newsday.com. I dont know when the TV show will start , but it is only available to those that subscribe to Cablevision. It looks interesting & wish it was advertised throughout the world, so that all can be educated. Please check it out online & spread the news.

WOW!!! Be prepared everyone! These videos are some of the most realistic and poignant I have seen. I have yet to stop crying as all of it is so real and hits home.

In addition to the videos, the Science of Alzheimers gives some of the best explanation of what happens to the brain that I have seen.

This whole link is a must see.

Thank you Rosas daughter for sharing this information This is what needs to be communicated out there as to the real grief caused by Alzheimer's.

Thanks for the link Anita. I won't be watching it today. I know if I do, I'll start crying alot and right now I don't think I can really deal with it. I've been crying almost every day for the past month or so and today I feel numb with upper body pain and exhausted.

I'm sharing this link with others on FaceBook.

Hi Sarah,
I am sorry you are feeling so bad. Isn't it amazing how this grief grips us?

You are right, you will need a tissue when watching these videos. But, they are very well done and very steeped in reality.

I hope you feel better soon.

Just watched and read a bit of this. Had to stop, too depressing right now.

Thanks for posting this though. At least the word is getting out slowly but surely.

Seems to be hitting people younger and younger all the time.
