My husband is starting to experience a lot of depression, I am thinking of asking the Neurologist to prescribe something mild. Any suggestions to what has helped your love ones?

Hello Kadee,
Welcome to this forum. I'm sorry for what brings you here. Depression is very common in people that have EOAD/FTD or any type of Dementia. I currently take Lexapro. My doctor started me on 10mg a day for a few weeks then increased it to 20mg a day. I feel it helps me a great deal. Perhaps it can help your husband too! I hope so.

Good Luck

Please, keep us posted.

Peace and Hope,

Lisa
