My divorced wife of almost 8 years developed dementia shortly after we were divorced. Thoughout our marriage she forgot things and was bipolar. Who knew what was to come, but after reading these postings I am shocked at the young age others have become victim to this. So as I said until you read you never know. My heart goes out to all.

Karen was 51 when she developed AD and after being cared for at home by her family she now goes back and forth from a nursing home to a phyiscritic ward. I have little or no communication with her family which leaves me in quite a lark as I have two daughters 24 and 18. My older daughter lives nearby and visits but can not communicate with me regarding her mom's condition. My 18 year old just went to college and well you all know how that is for her. I want to make her aware and help her understand but needless to sign it is so difficult.

My ex-wifes funds from our divorce has all gone to her health care and now I am stressed to find assistance for my daughters college tutition. Would anone have any suggestions?
