I took the Car today.
And went to the Liquor store and bought 2 fiths of Jack.
My Wife went to Chacago with a dear friend whose daughter is fighting Cancer. She needed to do that I Know.
Yesterday I took the psych Neuro test.
If this seems disconected then I say it's the Jack .
Just down right now and can't seem to get by it.
On the one hand I know what the MRI said ,and on the other I can't reconcile my feelings and thoughts.
The test went very well I think
i think I do well with what I have to work with . we Will see.

We're so close in location!! And I have been thru the same testing as you.
Jack may be your friend right now but watch out,.. talk with your wife.
When do you have follow up with Nero? I completly understand your struggles.

Sven,

Sounds like the Jack talking and not you. Alcohol is a depressant. Please, try to stay away from it.

You can still have a good life just a different life. Get involved in an AD support group ASAP!

Thinking of you.

Peace and Hope,
Lisa

Sven, I keep a list of quotable quotes. Here's one for this part of our lives, the feeling like giving up. Don't know who said it first.

"We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."

I stumbled upon this quote and it seems to fit here....

"It may be that when we no longer know what to do we have come to our real work,

And that when we no longer know which way to go we have come to our real journey.

The mind that is not baffled is not employed.

The impeded stream is the one that sings. "

Cindy, that is a fantastic quote! I just copied it, and sent it to everyone on my address list. I dare to say that it is especially perfect for us dementia guys.

Man, that is such a great quote!

Sven, Get a red wine next time. A Nuerologist once explained to med that a glass of red wine each evening was a good thing. Seems red wine attacks the amaloid that pushes AD.
