I've been browsing this board for a few months. My father was dx'd 4/07 with EOAD at 64. Our life has made alot of big turns since then. I'm looking for people in the Greensboro, NC area who are either family members or individuals w/ EOAD. There are no support groups for them! My Dad had to quit work and has limited driving range but still plays golf, works around the house and yard, reads the paper....he's still living and it may be helpful to network with people for my mother and my father in these early stages. It can be very isolating outside of family and I know how wonderful support is. If you may be interested please post.
Clarfication, I actually learned at the neurologist visit we had today that my father has early, mild not 'early onset'. The difference was made clear by our doctor. Regardless, I don't think that matters. Just wanted to make that clear!
