OK girls, I just got this today - I wanted you both to see it, as you're both dealing with BOTH diagnoses.

This scares me - I have Hasimoto's & Lupus. Makes me wonder which comes first, the chicken or the egg? Eeker

Hi Becky, thanks for the information. I had thyroid panels run several times before I finally got a diagnosis and my labs always came back as normal. I wish it were that easy as treating my thyroid. However, the MRI's and neuro-psych evals show the disesae as well. Someday...................

Hi Becky,
I do have hashimoto's thyroiditis and a goiter and have had them for years. My first dx with my memory loss was hashimoto brain. I was treated with High Dose steroids for 2 months with no improvement. I saw 2 endocrinologists and they said it was NOT my thyroid causing the memory problems. It was the 2nd neurologist that I saw along with seeing a 3rd one at Emory that made my dx. I will check out this website you sent.
That's for the info.

Peace and Hope,

Lisa
