In case any of you live in Missouri or certain parts of Illinois, I wanted you to know that the St. Louis Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association offers free peer-to-peer telephone support for people with memory loss. If you live in the area served by our chapter, you can receive a telephone call at home, every other Saturday, from another person with early stage memory loss. You do not have to have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or another type of dementia--you just have to be experiencing memory loss. It's a great way to meet others who are experiencing some of the same things you may be experiencing, and you don't have to be able to navigate a chat room! For more information, please call Deb Bryer at 314-801-0420 or call toll-free at 1-800-980-9080 and ask for Deb Bryer at the St. Louis Chapter. (The Illinois counties we serve are Calhoun, Clay, Clinton, Jefferson, Jersey, Madison, Marion, Monroe, St. Clair & Washington.)
