I have been spending more time lately on thealzheimerspoucce and have failed to let you guys know abut the site:
http://howiscaroldoing.blogspot.com/
This is posted on blogger.com and was very easy to set up. It has been good to be able to post things for family members, friends and other Caregivers. Very easy to add your comments if you want to. My new effort to list my needs for help have been very productive and friends like it. Hope you enjoy it. bill

Looks very good. Blogging can be an extremely worthwhile way to get through all this.

Fellow travelers - please visit Bill's blog.

You have a great blog there. It's very uplifting and a positive place to go.

I have a blog, too. However, mine is not as positive and I wonder if it turns people away.

Either way, it's therapeutic for me.

RockingReddRobin -

I like your blog.

Mine isn't the height of positivity either.

I think there's room for many different ways to react to Alzheimer's. Honesty is key and you've got that.

Many blogs, many voices, right?

Best,
Alan

It is \very hard to be positive about Alzheimer's but I try real hard to not led AD win this battle on my side. Poor Carol does not have much hope of winning so I just want to keep her as happy as possible and treat her bad side as best as I can. We now give her risperdol every night and at least she is now waking up happy.
I also believe that I can be a good witness for others and let them that my Christian walk gives me the strength to do the best caregiving I can. I have tried to explain some of this life to friends and others. Hope you find Carol's Blog interesting!!!!!
