I'm back !! Mom is doing pretty good,,took her to the bladder speicalist the other day,,,she's going to be on "estrace cream" for 2 weeks,,then a device called a "pestery" will be installed ,,along with an o-ring of estrace hormone.

The Dr feels that this is why Mom has had so very many uti's,,and also could possibley be the culprit to her kidney failure....god I sure hope so. I had her blood work done last week,,and her creatinine numbers are climbing back up,,but the bladder speicialist says Mom has a horrible infection now,,due to the fact that the bladder is not functioning and emptying,,therefore its more stress on the kidneys to keep trying to "refilter" already contaminated urine.

But other than that,,,Mom is doing well. Lets all get those prayers going,,that this device and all will do the trick . I'll tell you what though,,,that estrace cream is "expensive"!!

I've missed everyone,,but I myself had the flu last week,,,so badly that it caused "ulcers" in my mouth....can we say pain and yukko!!!

And this weekend we are going up to the farmhouse to close it up for the season,,more work of course! haha,,but we have to take the good with the bad. Peace

yay!!!!!!!! Big Grin so glad you are back..hope you are feeling much better..hate to hear that you have been sick...and you certainly have educated me about these bladder issues...your poor mom..i will pray that the cream and this pestery thingie will be the ticket...it would be great if this solved her UTI problems.

Glad you are back friend!!!

Glad to see you back here and I will keep you and your mom in my thoughts. People get a little concerned when some of the "regulars" disappear for awhile.

Hey, my friend!

I was worried about your absence. Sorry you were sick. Hope you're feeling much better now! Try to not do TOO much at the farmhouse! Yeah, right!

Will keep you and your mom in my prayers!
