To All: The genetic link to causation re Alzheimers is actually quite small -- somewhere in the area of appoximately 5%.

Below is an email I circulated today regarding my mission and also announcing my new website access information:

Mission: To inform the public of the urgent need to move electric appliances and some telephone equipment away from beds.

Our government, the American Cancer Society, other organizations, the electrical utilities and tax-paid government officials KNOW that chronic, prolonged exposures to "low level EMF/EMR" -- especially near beds or locations such as favorite recliner chairs and couches -- may be hazardous to your health.

Autism, Alzheimers are "literally exploding!!!" Do not be fooled by memories of a relative having been diagnosed -- only a very small percentage of health problems are truly "genetic." Toxic environmental exposures are major triggers, in combination with other chemical exposures which include prescription medications. If you sleep next to an electric clock, a transformer for cordless phone or other appliance or electronic game, for instance, AND consume medication or even large amounts of vitamins and supplements, you may experience a doubling or tripling of adverse effects of the particular medication or supplement.

Best wishes to all for good health and take care!!! Joanne

Only one other person in my husband's family has every been diagnosed with any form of dementia, and he is a cousin, diagnosed since Mike was. But if you talk to Mike's sister, she swears she has it, as well as their other siblings. lolol!

Rose: Thank you for your kind support!!! You do "exhibit love" -- even your name is symbolic of someone who cares....

Fighting for the rights of others can be very rewarding but is often a lonely battle now that my best friends and confidants have died.

Momentum in the direction of forcing the release of information to the public is very encouraging -- we EMF activists await prudent avoidance recommendations out of the World Health Organization's EMF Project (WHO).

Hopefully tomorrow's children will have one less threat to their health and lives.....Stay well and take care - Joanne

Keli: As you most likely already know, it is natural for everyone to experience some forgetfulness.

Re relative's, my first concerns would be to eliminate nighttime EMF's -- if they will listen to your suggestions. If not, perhaps they would take a look at my website: www.guineapigsrus.org

I don't blame anyone for being more aware of the "little miscues" we all experience considering what a frightening, devastating disease Alzheimers is. Life is so full of stresses, it is a wonder anything gets done right anymore even for those who do sleep in a relatively EMF/EMR-free bedroom.

You will be excited to learn how many persons you can help by educating them about danger of electric and phone items by beds. All the best and take care - Joanne
