Just wanted to thank everyone who has listened to me vent or who has offered good advice or encouragement. My MIL passed away this morning. She has been going steadily down for the past 6 weeks and has been on Hospice care in her assisted living. Seeing her yesterday was just the saddest thing. She needed to go.

These are such true words.I think this a lot when I see residents at my mother's NH.

I hope you have a peaceful holiday season. It's time to take a deep breath and know that you and your family did all you could, but now it's time for another chapter in your life. I hope it's a good one.

Oh Nina, I'm soo sorry I didn't read this first. Please forgive me.

I offer you the biggest hug possible and a nice squeeze of your shoulder too. Just know we're all with you, maybe not physically -- but mentally.

You are definitely in our prayers.
