I am wondering if any caregivers have found certain software helpful with their loved ones. We have found that certain software has helped my husband with appts., medication and general daily life. My husband is still in the early stages and can benefit from intervention. I'd like to hear what other people have found help in the terms of software or otherwise. Thanks so much.

Hi Madaleah,
Google Calendar is a pretty nice application where you can enter appts, daily tasks, medication etc and you can set it to automatically send you a reminder via email whenever anything is due. I don't know if that will be helpful enough for medication though.. with my father I used those pillboxes that have each day marked on them. I used one for day and night .. that might help a little bit. I'm actually a software engineer, and i think that what you are looking for is actually a good idea.. so maybe I'll look into maybe producing something like that in the future. admin@battlethespread.com www.battlethespread.com Slowing down the spread of Alzheimer's |
