Gremlin, some members are having trouble logging onto the chat room or posting in the chat room. I know you're computer savvy. Can you help them? The thread is "Can't get into chat room" in the Chat Forum. Thanks a lot!

Iris, I am not computer savvy, well maybe a litle, but always check your pop up blocker as that is issue for chatroom entry also.

Thanks, Sheryl

I'm running a Mac with safari and I've got pop-up blocker disabled, I might try turning it on and seeing if it affects performance at all!

Gremlin, I"m also using a Macbook with Safari and my pop-up is also disabled and I have no problems entering chat. How often do you turn your computer completely off? Sometimes if I don't re-boot it after a week or so, it gets cantankerous and does very weird things.

I've just tried going into chat with pop ups blocked, no difference in performance. The chat window comes up as what is called a 'daughter window' not as a pop up.

I've never had any problems at all with the alz.org site, boards, or chats.

Thanks gremlin for checking your pop-up blocker. I don't have a problem but some of the other members are having a problem getting into the chat room.

Sam, I have used re-booting my computer to solve other technical problems in the past. It does work. It's nice to know that some problems are self-extinguishing.
