I'm sorry. Our doctor is the same way, and not being a nurse I guess I just don't understand the problem. Good grief, she has alzheimers its not like an extra dose of antibiotics is really going to make a difference when it comes to treating infections later on .. but like I said maybe I just don't get it. From all I've read about what can happen with untreated UTIs I think an ER trip is not out of the question. UTIs can be such a horrible thing for caregivers as well as our LOs.

I tried to delete it before I wasted anyone's time with a response. A very very very tearful phonecall to the office and they said I could just drop off the urine sample without having to bring her.
I think it helped that she was MEAN the last time she was thereSmilerD. She hates the doctors.
Thank you SO much for responding, LittleRed.
I really really really hope that she's her nice usual self after this clears up. I like my nice Grandma, not my mean Grandma so much.
