Well I'm one day into my Two week break, Mum is in respite until Monday week and I am free ......

I booked Mum in for another two weeks next February.

Last night sitting in solace with just me the 2 dogs 1 cat and Pay TV was relaxing.

Today I start doing whatever I want, when I want how I want. . . . within reason of course.

I am not concerned with the lack of support from my siblings as I cannot change them. I no longer go out of my way to try and get them involved with mums care as it just causes me heartache.
This is my lot in life and sure I could change it and put mum into a ALF permanently but she isn't that far gone yet so this is it for now.

So two weeks is a lifetime for me as it is now.

Ouch my head hurts ..... too much partying last night .... but he was worth it.

Took mums little foxy into see her today and the staff said I could bring our other dog in as well. The staff and residents love Maggie mums dog, but my boy is a Kelpie farm bred for herding sheep. He is a great dog and well trained but I fear he maybe too big.

I'm just enjoying remembering what it's like to be me, something my ex found out to his detriment over the weekend. I don't think we will have anymore on again off again after that....
