Is there a way to control the volume on the remote control?????? Or is there one that doesn't go up too high? My mother listens to the tv on 39 and up- she doesn't have a hearing problem. I know this will be an issue when we live together ( very soon)because I am very quiet and can't tolerate the blarring tv commercials very well. I know that sounds petty but if anyone else has ideas about it,I'd like to hear please. She loves her tv..

Get her some "TV EARS." It's a simple wireless device that allows one person to listen to the TV while the sound is actually turned off in the room. The listener wears a light headset that just looks like a pair of earmuffs.

They work like a charm, as long as you LO isn't too far gone to relax and pick up on what's happening.

I bought a set (new in package) on eBay for about $20.00. Well worth it.

Good idea Redcedar. Also, if you adjust the sound on the TV itself, to perhaps halfway, the remote won't go any higher either. I'm with you Katerin. I hate blaring TVs!

Trouble and the Grace to bear it, come in the same package.
