Well I had a great week,,,just got back from spending time with friends and family back home! Also had the "priveledge" of meeting in person with DJ,,,what an absolute delight that was....she is such a Sweetheart,,,I could've sat all day and yakked her to death! haha.

I've missed so much already after being gone for a week. My Mom is doing so well in the new ALF,,,she is so much happier. She continues to loose weight,,but she is eating well. Her creatinine numbers are almost back to normal,,so thank god I never did jump on the dialysis bandwagon.

Hubby had went to visit with Mom on this past Saturday,,,she was happy to see him,,but was crying because she thought that something bad had happened to me. All the aides and nurse had told mom that I was out of town on a "vacation",,,so she was happy and all smiles when I walked thru the door today at the ALF,,all drenched wet and totally windblown!

I'm so sorry about cfrich's Mom,,,its so very sad when I come back after being gone for such a short time,,,to read about the loss of anyone's LO.

As always,,I keep everyone in my prayers and thoughts,,another day,,perhaps it will be the day to find the cure. Peace & Blessings to all.

Glad you took some time for you! Your last "break" sure wasn't a vacation. Glad your DM did okay while you were gone. I know you had a tough time deciding on the dialysis, but it sure looks like you made the right decision for her. And the new ALF, too. Isn't it nice when something goes right? Not that everything is peaches and cream, but as good as it can get.
