I haven't been here in sometime, and just wanted to say hello to everyone. Things have taken a turn for the worst, can't explain it all now - way overdue for some serious sleep. Mom has alzheimer's, we finally figured that out through the neurologist. Meds aren't working very well on her, osteoporosis is killing her and life pretty much sucks. Dad is doing okay, though. For once, I had a nice conversation with him (he's kind of quiet), but was talkative today and I enjoyed it.
More later. Take care all.

Glad to see you posting again! It's good to know that you're still here even if not posting daily. How's the unpacking going?

I am sorry for the changes in your mother. It must be very difficult for you. Glad to have you come and talk to us. Let us know how you and your mother are doing, we will be thinking of you.
Warm hugs,

Sylvia, hang in there - you are not alone - God, there are sooooo many of us out here it's just amazing... so sad... so hard... know what my Mom said to me today? First let me say this - my Mom in her right mind was the most prim and proper perfect little grey haired Southern Belle lady you ever met - she NEVER said an ugly word to anyone EVER!!! Well guess what she said today... (she's almost 87) she said, "I will shit on you..." It just broke my heart.
You don't have to apologize. It's perfectly normal. My mom was also the kindest, loving person you ever wanted to know. Today, she advised me that she is going to tell her neighbor what an awful daughter I am. Go ahead! I don't think I care anymore.
Johanna: Can you see how well things went today?
NDuke: I'm unpacked except for the office, but much better than before. Thanks for remembering.
I got a job, it's kind of far, about an hour and 15 minutes one way. But the pay is so good and I like the place and my two bosses. It's working out well, I think they like me too.
