MARY JANE RASMUSSON (acrostic)

M ary Jane married Bill who
A lways loved her more than life itself.
R egardless of the pain and sorrow
Y ou would always find her in a cheerful mood.

J im was born in ’44, Tom in ‘41
A nd Marilyn popped forth in ’49.
N ever did three kids have a sweeter Mom,
E ven when they robbed the cookie jar.

R egaled as a contract bridge master
A nd a pianist with perfect pitch,
S he never spoke of all her talents.
M odesty WAS her best policy.
U ltimately she gave way to Alzheimers
S o her loved ones could finally give back
S ome payment for the service they received.
O n a lofty heaven-cloud there can be seen
N ary a player who can outbid the Irish lass from Michigan.

James,
Again touching and charming.
That's exactly how I feel about caring for my mom. She was always my rock and I know she would have cared for me if I was the one to get sick.
I enjoyed reading this.

Thank you James. You touched me with your love for your mom and how you shared who she was in your life.
