We ALL think we know how if feels to ‘loose someone dear to us’… but do you really?? Of course the very first thing that you are thinking right now is “Yes I do! I lost someone to death,” or better yet… “I lost the love of my life!” But what about the one’s closest to you, whom you love with every part of your being ~ that, may be here in body ~ but not in mind? How do you think THAT feels to know that perhaps each special memory with that person is one that has immediately been lost, or will never be recalled to mind again? Our names may at times be forgotten, or our visits together never remembered… however, we can continue to cherish it! We can still thank God for every moment that they are with us here on earth, because for every selfish inclination, we can enjoy their presence… if only for ourselves.
Never mind how we feel – how are THEY feeling when they struggle to summon up anything..... any ‘little thing’ that is constantly being reminded to them by their mate, their friend, their children, regarding that last hour - 5 minutes ago, or even when the biggest problem use to be, where they put those darn keys?!
Remember for you… but most of all… reminisce for them, and the joy will remain in all of your hearts & in your souls forever.
