I have recently been diagnosed early onset alzheimers.
I'm looking for hands-on-games, places where I can get the puzzles such as taking a bunch of little different shaped blocks and you have to put them together to complete the puzzel. I know I can buy a bunch of puzzles, but that gets expensive. Once the puzzel is solved. We might not want to do the same games/puzzels. |

Donna---Welcome. You are in the right place...but...You posted in an out of the way portion of our forum. Your post would have attracted more answers if it was placed in one of the 1st 3 forums instead of Musings.
I'm a caregiver. I can understand your reluctance of wanting to sink a lot of money into puzzles that you might grow tired of. My suggestion is that you use your computer. Recently I came across a blog written by a 63 year old woman who has dementia and found it interesting and educational. I'll post a link below that you will have to copy and paste into your browser. You might find her links to brain exercises interesting and fun. They are located on the bottom left side of her page. Good luck and come back often to post. http://www.simplesite.com/MotherMary/2926941 skericheri@yahoo.com |
